    Gripset GC All Purpose Adhesive is a high performance, single part waterproof bedding compound used for fixing any of the GC sheet membranes. Based on silane modified polymer technology, GC All Purpose adhesive possesses outstanding adhesion and high early grab properties over a broad range of porous and non porous substrates. Designed to fix all the Gripset GC Sheet membranes for internal and external applications, providing a low viscosity, easily spreading adhesive with smooth consistent properties that can be applied to dry and damp surfaces.

    Coverage

    A minimum 0.8mm wet bed of GC Pro Adhesive is to be formed for bonding the GC sheet membrane suite.

    General consumption is approximately 1.2m² per litre applied with a 2.4mm V notch trowel or medium nap roller.

    Adhesive coverage is dependent upon surface condition and will vary accordingly as uneven surfaces will require greater coverage to achieve the required bed thickness

    1 x 15Litre pail of Gripset GC Pro Adhesive will cover approx. 18m² of area to adhere the GC sheet suite to the surface.

  • Gripset BRW HD – HDPE Reinforced Butyl Rubber Waterproofing

    Gripset BRW-HD is a self-adhesive butyl rubber sheet membrane with a laminated high strength HDPE film facing designed for subterranean waterproofing and multi layered sheet membrane applications. The high tack butyl backing provides a high performance waterproof layer with unrivalled adhesion to porous and non-porous surfaces in a wide range of temperature conditions. BRW-HD membrane has outstanding resistance to vibration, movement and flexing, delivering a waterproofing system that overcomes the limitations of bitumen self tack and heat applied sheet membranes. As a non-bituminous system, termination points at ground level or above earth lines have no risk of bleeding or yellowing into wall surface finishes. The BRW-HD system along with the BRW-PF grade enables the direct adhesion of finishes over the membrane including tiles, renders, textures, paints systems and decorative finishes.

    The BRW-HD Tape is to be used at sheet ends between rolls, to seal overlapped sections where there is no sealing strip. BRW-HD tape can be used as a general detailing tape for all BRW-HD applications. All general overlapping between sheets or with the BRW-HD Tape should be a minimum of 50mm.

  • Gripset BRW PF – Fibre Reinforced Butyl Rubber Waterproofing

    Gripset BRW-PF is a self-adhesive butyl rubber sheet membrane with a polypropylene fabric facing that supports the application of surface finishes for waterproofing internal and external areas. The high tack butyl backing provides a high-performance waterproof layer with outstanding resistance to vibration, movement and flexing, delivering a waterproofing system that overcomes the limitations of liquid membranes and bitumen tack sheet membranes. Forming an instant waterproof seal when applied onto surfaces, BRW-PF the system avoids downtime for drying or curing, enabling surface finishes and adhesives to be applied directly over. BRW-PF can be finished over with Gripset adhesives, membranes, coatings, screeds, mortars, renders and approved decorative finishes.

    A sheet membrane that provides high performance waterproof and vapour barrier protection for numerous applications.   • Gripset GC2 – Waterproof, Anti-Fracture Sheet Membrane

    Gripset GC2 is part of an innovative sheet membrane system that provides high performance waterproof and vapour proof membrane with outstanding crack resistantant de-coupling properties. Specifically designed for external wet areas, roofing and specialised remedial applications. Consisting of fibre bonded fabric on the exposed face and heavy duty fibre backing on the rear face, GC2 forms a fast and highly durable waterproof system that allows surface toppings/finishes or Gripset trafficable coatings to be applied over immediately after the membrane system has been installed. A unique feature of the GC2 system is the anti-fracture and decoupling properties to prevent stress cracks from transferring through to the finished surfaces over concrete, masonry and timber substrates.     Gripset XpressLay is a next-generation high strength reinforced self-adhesive PVC sheet that offers unique properties for waterproofing wet area applications, internal and external. At less than 1mm film thickness, XpressLay provides tensile strength properties of 13MPa offering standalone benefits and advantages for wet area waterproofing. The innovative self-adhesive properties of XpressLay enable the sheet to be applied directly over substrates and removed or re-positioned, without compromising the bond to surfaces or performance of the shear adhesion strength over floor surfaces.
